Tiered custom cakes start at $7 per slice and sculpted cakes start at $15 per slice. The final price depends on your icing choice and design.

We require about 5 days to a weeks notice for specialty cakes because the fondant icing decorations need lots of time to dry. For our standard cakes decorated with butter cream or chocolate icing, rosette flowers and writing we need 24 hours notice. You are welcome to send us a picture of a cake you have seen elsewhere to see if it is something we can replicate but we only take orders via the telephone or at the shop.

Yes! We have a no-cancellation policy within 7 days of the order. If you need to modify or cancel the order prior to the 7 days, we will issue a store credit for the amount you have paid. If an emergency arises during the week of your party we may be able to postpone your order.

Fondant icing is a “dough” made of sugar and is used for decorations and used as a second icing, draped over butter cream. We highly recommend fondant icing for specialty cakes that feed more than 25 people during the warmer months of April through October. Fondant secures the cake for traveling and cannot melt like butter cream.

We offer wedding cake tastings Tuesday through Saturday between 10am and 3pm. Wedding cakes are usually ordered 3-6 months in advance. Please call us to schedule a tasting appointment.

We do not ship our cakes because we have no control over how the package would be handled and the temperatures that the product would be subject to.
You are, however, welcome to come to the shop, discuss with the staff what cookies, brownies and coffee cakes would ship well and send it yourself.

We do not use peanut oil, however, if you have a nut allergy we recommend that you do not eat anything from our bakery. We use many types of nuts as well as peanut butter and we cannot guarantee they have not come into contact with a nut free item.

We do not make sugar free cakes as we do not use any artificial sweeteners. We have a flourless chocolate cake that is always available in the case in the form of cakes and cupcakes.

We stop taking orders about 5-7 days before a holiday and that often means all orders. Because certain holidays are tremendously busy we must stop taking all orders so that we can accommodate customers who placed orders before the deadline. If you forget to place an order, be comforted by the fact that we have over 40 items to choose from on a regular basis.
