The donation of your time, staff, food, and drink is so greatly appreciated by everyone here at PHS and by every Philadelphian affected by the City Harvest program, which feeds 1,200 families in need each week and supports local youth programs at over 40 growing sites.  In a large part because of you, we were able to raise $100,000 for City Harvest—a new PHeaSt record!  We were so impressed with your dish and hope to be able to work with Night Kitchen Bakery again in the near future!

A big thank you to Amy for such a gorgeous cake for my daughter's wedding on July 5, 2014. Amy you captured exactly what she wanted on her cake from the ribbon to the bling and the bow it was simply spectacular. I greatly appreciate the quick response that you gave Nicole to come down for the tasting. The three cake flavors that she had were absolutely delicious. The strawberry shortcake was amazing as well as the chocolate and the red velvet. I received a lot of compliments regarding the cakes. I think most of our guests tried all three cakes. Hi Amy,

I hope this email finds you well! The cake that the Night Kitchen team created for us for the University's Senior Class Toast event on Friday, 5.2.14 was a huge hit! The students were really blown away both by the design and taste of the cake. We actually had students come back for a second round of cake - which has never happened before! Our sketch for them looked like a kindergarten's artwork, but they were somehow able to take a poem + a frieze like Trajan's Column and make one super delicious cake. I am generally a fondant-hater, but their fondant is legitimately a sugary delight (if somewhat more challenging to cut-- oops!) Highly, highly recommend the carrot cake. Highly, highly recommend bringing a cake box for any leftovers, because there's nothing better than unlimited cake when you're no longer trapped in a wedding dress. Arrived on time and survived a slightly humid spring night outside with no issues.

On behalf of the Friends of J.S. Jenks, I would like to thank you for your support of our organization and the J.S. Jenks school by providing a $25 gift certificate for our 2013 auction, and of course, for your help in creating a wonderful soup for our school picnic using our garden vegetables. The funds we have raised in this past year have been used to support the school's music program - through the purchase of lighting and sound enhancements for the auditorium, paying for buses to bring children to programs at World Cafe Live, and purchasing a script for the school musical. This year, we have also been able to support the school library by purchasing software for cataloging books, and the school's STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) program by purchasing science magazine subscriptions, providing funds for student field trips, and for improving classroom infrastructure. Your support is particularly meaningful this year, allowing the school to maintain and expand enrichment programming despite district wide budget cuts. Community support makes a big difference.

I must sing PRAISES in your Bakery’s name.  My daughter’s 3 tier book cake was not only the talk of the party but the taste was superb.  Each tier having a different filling was so great.  I cannot begin to tell you how happy you made me and my family.

Sometimes parents do foolish or impractical things to please our offspring, no matter what the age.  I was willing to forgo taste to have a good-looking cakeJ.  I found your bakery and how fantastic of a parent am I.  Superb-Looking and delicious all-in-one.  Thanks for making me look good.

Thank you so, so much for doing such a great job with our daughter's birthday cake!  Samantha had her Make a Wish Trip to Disney a couple of months ago.  We knew we wanted to do a Minnie party theme this year as she had so much fun in Disney. The Minnie cake you created was beautiful.  So beautiful in fact, that we didn\'t want to cut it!  Luckily we decided to just do it--and the cake was as delicious as it was beautiful.  Everyone seemed to love the cake--especially Samantha.

Hi Jenny and everyone at Night Kitchen,
I wanted to thank you so, so much for making our wedding awesome!!! Our wedding cake--which looked like layers of birch tree with ferns going up the side, was so gorgeous and, of course, delicious! Everyone at it up--I'm glad that we got to feed each other a bit of it so we definitely got to sample it. The little touches, like the tiny ladybugs at the base and the mini turtle eating an even mini-er cupcake, made us smile and everyone commented about how beautiful and tasty the cake was. We LOVED it so much!

 And, I have to say, my groom's cake was AMAZING! I think Alison worked with Susanna around a design...Cookie Monster on top (eating cupcakes), and on the base there were so many of the things I love--a rainbow, a unicorn, and an otter holding a cupcake. I'm sure that sounds like a design for a 5 year old, but it made this 32 year old totally happy. I wish you could have been there to see/hear my squeals of delight when I saw it. Never in a million years would I have imagined such an awesome cake. That one, too, got gobbled up. As much as I didn't want to eat it....I did. And it was good.

 I bake cupcakes regularly and so I'm pretty picky about my cake and you guys blew it out of the water on both accounts. Thank you so much for being so nice to work with, for listening to and making our crazy ideas come to life, and for giving us such beautiful and tasty pieces of art that became a part of our wedding celebration.

Dear Amy and Staff,
Thank you so much for the amazing cake!  Everyone commented on how amazing it tasted!  I had multiple people asking for bigger pieces and even wanted to try both flavors on the top and bottom, so I am so glad I went with the bigger size!  I even had a neighbor stop by the next day asking if I had any leftover cake for them to have more.  My daughter completely loved it and kept picking off the bubbles to eat.  I'm so glad I decided to use your bakery and plan to in the future as well.  I loved the atmosphere of your cute shop and the staff there was so nice as well.  I attached some pictures after the Bubble Guppies characters were added for you to see.

Dear Night Kitchen Team,
I wanted to send a note of appreciation your way for the AMAZING cake you created for our celebration of the 20th Anniversary of the Gutman Library.  The recreation of the building was so perfect it was a huge hit with all of our guests, including the Gutman Family (who were extremely impressed).  If you follow this link , you will see that Matt Gutman (a correspondent for ABC) tweeted a photo of the cake prior to the start of the event! I am sure you took better photos than the one that is attached(below left), but our catering director took this one of the cake right after it was delivered.  It was simply amazing, and I cannot imagine how much effort it took to have this created (not to mention how delicious it was!).  The second photo is of the Gutman family and the cake after it was presented to them.  The cake made really made the event!

I live and Chattanooga, Tennessee and stopped by your bakery on Friday to pick up goodies for a girls\' weekend on the NJ shore.  All 15 of us loved the jumble cookies and apple crumble pie, but it was the salted caramel bars that sent us into total bliss.  We unanimously agreed that they are the best dessert any of us we've ever had!

Good Morning Amy,
I just wanted to write you a note thanking you and your team/chef for a wonderful cake and cupcakes at my 50th birthday. The cake was a lovely replica of the hat I wore. And has captured the theme and style I was trying to convey. I only cut a small piece as token during the event since I wanted to preserve and take the cake home with me. But now, I regret that I didn't serve the cake that evening to the guests since it was also very delicious!!!

I forgot to tell you how much our little guy enjoyed his cake on his birthday. You guys nailed it and it was delicious as always:) He was sooo excited when we started singing happy birthday and saw the little angry birds. 2 birds have survived which he didn't want to eat because they were his favorites:) That would be the blue and the yellow.
